Accountability Partner In Trading.
How to Find an Accountability Partner in Trading.
Finding an accountability partner doesn’t have to be a difficult process.
1. Similar goals or interests
2. Familiar with the focus of your goals
3. Positive, driven and persistent
4. Reliable enough to meet on a weekly or bi-weekly basis
5. Strong-willed enough to (nicely) kick you in the butt if you’re slacking.
Who this person is depends on the nature of your goals. It can be a friend, family
member, colleague or even someone you’ve met on the Internet. For instance,
sandy and I connected through our forex training. While I’ve never met her in person, she completely trust my advice because we share a mutual desire to build a
successful, content-based Internet business in forex trading.
There are a lot of places to find a great accountability partner: local clubs,
business groups, seminars, activity centers (gyms, libraries, etc.), paid
weekend events (like an investing seminar) and interest-specific Web forums.
How to Run an Accountability Session
Don’t let the word “accountability” make you nervous. Usually these meetings
are pretty informal; you each share your experiences and talk about what you’d
like to accomplish.
I. Understand your communication preference: Both people should be clear
about what they like and don’t like when receiving feedback.
Typically, it’s best to match yourself with someone who shares a similar style ofcommunication.
This will reduce the risk of getting your feelings hurt or mistakenly saying the wrong thing

My suggestion is to look for a person who has all (or at least most) of these qualities:
1. Similar goals or interests
2. Familiar with the focus of your goals
3. Positive, driven and persistent
4. Reliable enough to meet on a weekly or bi-weekly basis
5. Strong-willed enough to (nicely) kick you in the butt if you’re slacking.

That said,
here are a few ground rules to make sure both people get the most out of each session:
I. Understand your communication preference: Both people should be clear
about what they like and don’t like when receiving feedback.
Specifically, when it comes to not completing a specific task, how will you support one another?
Do you prefer bluntness where the other person calls you out? Or do you like a
gentler, kinder approach?
gentler, kinder approach?
